Accessible Tourism – New at Keppel Dive & Water Sports!
In a major step forward for inclusive tourism on the Southern Great Barrier Reef and Great Keppel Island, we’ve launched our new, purpose-built all-abilities tourism vessel — Keppel Adventure — designed to significantly improve access to the pristine Keppel Islands for visitors of all abilities.
The vessel features innovative design elements, and a specialised focus on wheelchair and mobility-challenged guests.
This is more than just a boat — it’s a new chapter for accessible tourism on the Capricorn Coast. We’ve always believed the Keppel Islands should be enjoyed by everyone, and now, with Keppel Adventure, they truly can be. Visit our Accessible Tourism page for more details.
Tourism & Reef Conservation
The team at Keppel Dive & Water Sports are committed to the long-term conservation and education of the Great Barrier Reef and particularly here in the Keppel Group, a gem in the Southern Great Barrier Reef. Through our active partnerships with The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, supporting the Australian Institute of Marine Science’s research, working with Traditional Owners, and helping to deliver Traineeships for young Indigenous and non-Indigenous local students, Keppel Dive & Water Sports is invested in the future of the Great Barrier Reef. We love to share our citizen science efforts and want our guests to leave with a greater understanding and appreciation for the Southern Great Barrier reef and the knowledge that everyone can make a difference!
